Alcohol and Speed Possible Factors in SUV Rollover Death in Virginia Beach

By John Cooper, Virginia Beach Auto Accident Injury Attorney

Speed and alcohol may have been factors in a fatal crash in Virginia Beach in which an SUV rolled over several times.

The Daily Press reported the driver died after being ejected from a Toyota 4-Runner that rolled a number of times on Bay Colony Drive at Crystal Lake Drive early on January 5, 2013.

The SUV was heading east on Bay Colony Drive just before 2 a.m. when the driver lost control, said Grazia Moyersa of Virginia Beach police.

Two passengers were also injured and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Speed and alcohol may be factors in this fatal wreck, police said.
