VA Beach Injury Lawyer Report : Speed is Linked to the Death of a Woman in Virginia Beach

By John Cooper, Virginia Beach Accident Injury Attorney

Excess speed has been linked to another crash in Hampton Roads – this time in Virginia Beach.

Police said a 48-year-old woman from Pinewood Court, Virginia Beach died after the vehicle she was driving hit a tree, the Daily Press reported.

The fatal crash occurred on November 3, 2012 about 8:45 p.m. while the woman was driving westbound on Sparrow Road. Police said she lost control of her Mercury Mountaineer SUV and veered off the roadway before striking a tree.

As an experienced Virginia Beach car accident injury lawyer I am sad to have to report on so many single vehicle crashes that claim lives when a driver loses control of a car.

Police said excess speed was considered to be a factor in the Virginia Beach accident, in a press release.

Recently I reported on how three people died in two separate accidents in Richmond, VA that were linked to excess speed.

And on November 4 a 20-year-old man lost control of his SUV and his life while travelling at speed on Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach, VA.

My thoughts as an experienced Virginia Beach accident injury lawyer are with the families of the victims.
