Virginia Beach Car Wreck Injury Lawyer Report : Motorists are Injured After Driver Crossed Center Line in Fatal Crash on Lynnhaven Parkway

By John Cooper, Virginia Beach, VA Injury Lawyer

Virginia Beach’s Lynnhaven Parkway was the scene of a fatal three car crash after a driver crossed a center line.

Virginia Beach police said a Chevrolet van was traveling south on Lynnhaven Parkway near Primrose Lane when it crossed the median, hitting a Nissan Altima and a Lexus before flipping over, on August 26, 2012, the Virginian-Pilot reported.

The van driver was ejected, and his van came to rest on top of him, killing him. Other motorists were hurt in the ensuing accident. They may have grounds to make claims against the deceased driver’s insurance company, given police reports that the van driver crossed a line.

As a Virginia Beach auto accident injury lawyer, I have seen far too many fatal crashes in which drivers crossed center lines, leading to head on collisions.

In July a woman was killed in Winchester, VA when a pickup driver crossed a center line.

There was another factor common to many accidents I see as a Virginia Beach car wreck injury lawyer. The victim was not wearing a seat belt, leading him to be ejected.

The driver of the Nissan was also injured and taken to a local hospital. Three people were in the Lexus. One of them was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

If you have been hurt by a driver who crossed a center line you may have grounds to make a claim and should contact an experiences injury lawyer. See our Virginia Beach injury lawyers’ advice on what to do after a car accident.
