VA Beach DUI Injury Attorney Report – Virginia Beach Man Who Killed Friend in DUI Crash Disappears

By John Cooper, Virginia Beach Car Accident Injury Lawyer

A Virginia Beach man who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter over the drunk driving death of his friend, has become as a fugitive of the law after going missing.

According to wvec.com, Cameron Crockett, 23, has not shown up for his sentencing hearings and has not been seen in Virginia Beach since early March.

As experienced Virginia Beach drunk driving attorneys we see numerous cases in which drunk driving destroys life.  This is a case in point and it now appears Cameron Crockett is giving himself even more problems by becoming a fugitive.

He was convicted of manslaughter for a DUI crash that killed Jack Korte in December 2008 in Virginia Beach.

“Court records show Crockett and Korte were leaving a party in December 2008 when Crockett’s car hit a tree. Korte died at the scene,” WVEC.com reported

According to investigators Crockett’s blood alcohol content was almost twice the legal limit.

In recent weeks our car accident injury attorneys in Virginia Beach, have reported on a number of drunk driving cases.
